Who We Are
Purrenza ("we", "us", "our") operates the online store at purrenza.store, selling cat-care products including the Purrenza™ Grooming Stand. You can reach us at any time at contact@purrenza.store.
Data Controller
Purrenza is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our full registered business identity and postal address are published on this site once finalised; in the meantime, all privacy requests should be sent to contact@purrenza.store and will be handled by the same team.
Information We Collect
Order Information
Your name, email address, shipping address, billing details where required, the products and colour variant ordered, quantity, order totals, currency and order status.
Payment Information
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Purrenza does not store complete raw card details. We receive confirmation of payment status and limited identifiers (such as a payment or session reference) needed to reconcile and fulfil your order.
Shipping Information
Delivery name and address, and where required by the carrier, a contact email or phone number, plus tracking references generated for your parcel.
Customer Support Information
The content of messages you send us, including your name, email address, order number and any photographs you attach to a return or damage report.
Technical / Device Information
Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and interactions with the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies where permitted.
Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the store (for example remembering your cart). Preference, analytics and advertising technologies are only used where you have given consent, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
TikTok Pixel / Advertising
No advertising pixel is currently active on this store. If we enable the TikTok Pixel in future, it will only load after you consent to marketing cookies, and this policy will be updated to describe it accurately before it is used.
Analytics
Where analytics are enabled, they are used only in aggregate to understand how the store is used and to improve it, and only after consent where consent is legally required.
How We Use Personal Information
- Order fulfilment — processing payment, dispatching your parcel and providing tracking.
- Customer support — answering questions and handling returns, refunds and claims.
- Fraud prevention — checking and preventing fraudulent or abusive transactions.
- Legal and accounting obligations — keeping transaction records required by law.
- Marketing — only where you have opted in or where permitted by law, and always with an easy opt-out.
- Site improvement — understanding aggregate usage where analytics consent has been given.
Legal Bases (UK/EU)
- Performance of a contract — to process and deliver the order you placed.
- Legal obligation — to keep tax, accounting and consumer-law records.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the store, prevent fraud and improve our products and service, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies, advertising technologies and marketing email.
Who We Share Information With
Stripe (payments)
Payment data is processed by Stripe as our payment provider. Stripe processes card details directly; we do not receive or store complete raw card numbers.
Hosting (Lovable)
This store is hosted on Lovable's infrastructure, which processes requests to the site in order to serve it to you.
Backend / database providers
Order records and support correspondence are stored with our backend and database provider so that we can fulfil and support your order.
Fulfilment / shipping providers
We share the name, delivery address and contact details needed for carriers and fulfilment partners to deliver your parcel.
Analytics / advertising providers
Only where you have consented, and only to the extent described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
International Transfers
Some of our providers operate outside the UK and EEA, which means your personal information may be transferred internationally. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK and EU data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses together with any additional measures required.
Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required to fulfil the order, handle returns and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Support correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to resolve related queries. Data we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections, access controls on order data and the use of a specialist payment provider so that complete raw card details never reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously.
UK Privacy Rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Contact contact@purrenza.store to exercise any of these rights.
EU/EEA Privacy Rights
If you are in the EU or EEA, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Marketing Opt-Out
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email contact@purrenza.store to be removed. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order you have placed.
Children's Privacy
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date, and material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU/EEA, your national supervisory authority.
Contact
Privacy questions and requests: contact@purrenza.store. We normally reply within 1–2 business days.
